Partners in the Horn of Africa is supported by private donations from individual Canadians, partnerships, foundations and corporations. The vast majority of donations are from individuals from across Canada.
We are a registered Canadian charity (Canadian Revenue Agency Registration Number 87209 5211 RR0001) and issue tax receipts for all donations. As we have outlined elsewhere, 100% of your donation goes to directly to projects in Ethiopia.

Partners accepts donations made on credit cards online here, or by phone or mail. Please do not email your credit card information as it is a security risk.

DONATING SECURITIES
With the elimination of capital gains on donations of publicly traded securities in 2006, gifts of securities are now the most tax efficient way to make a charitable donation and a great way for donors to make a greater impact with their gift. TAX BENEFITS
A Canadian taxpayer receives a tax credit for their donation to Partners in the Horn of Africa. The first $200.00 of donations claimed in a year is eligible for a credit based on the lowest level tax bracket and donations in excess of $200.00 are eligible for a credit based on the highest tax bracket. For B.C. residents the combined Federal and Provincial tax credits are 22.05% and 43.70% respectively.
